Safety
As with any apparatus in which heat, vapors or gas are created there always exists the potential for fire, hazard or carbon monoxide. Please verify all machine parts are being handled/used and operated in the manner instructed to decrease any possible hazards that might be created due to user error or negligence. Of the 2000+ conversions we have produced to date, not one has caught fire or burned because of manufacturer defects
Our Trailers
Single axle trailers have a 5,200 lb. rated axle and the trailer with conversion weighs under 3,500 lbs with water and all.
Dual axle trailers have 7,000 lb. rating and the largest weighs in under 4,500 lbs.
Weight distribution
Our trailers are designed and built to distribute weight from front to back as well as side to side. We do that with the tongue weight in front bearing the generator and water towards the back and then with vertical tanks that distribute half the water to each side and over the axles. That creates the steadiest possible conversion possible
Axles
All our units use Dexter Axles which is the largest manufacturer of axles for US built trailers. Dexter has several manufacturer warranties that come standard on their axles. They range from 1, 3, 5 or 7 years depending on the component and ensures it is free of defects
What is not covered
User error. This usually occurs when a trailer goes over or hits a curb rounding a corner or falls into a ditch or pot hole in or on the road. (of course no one ever does that!) That can cause an axle to bend and that in turn can cause tire wear. Dexter can initially warranty the axle but when it is returned to them they can tell if it has been caused by user error and then they get billed for the replacement axle
RV and Trailer Repair Companies
They may try to tell you that the conversion is to blame but in our experience to date they are generally clueless and lazy and not inclined to do the proper or required work as well as being known to overcharge or inflate estimates for most repairs.

Power sources (Generartor &/or Shore Power) need to be powerful enough to do the job. If you run a roof AC's you probably don't have enough power to run the dryer unless you have 30 amps available. Most Mobile Groomers find it frustrating when they trip their client's circuit breakers when running land line. If you don't mind grooming in summer with the AC off then roof mount AC's will do. They are also much more expensive to use and replace and the least efficient on the market. That is why we offer Roof AC's as an upgrade but recommend you get a generator powerful enough to run it all if that is your preference.
Window style units run with Energy Star efficiency (RV roof AC 9200 Watt needs 12+ Amps; But a 6000 watt Living Room size wall style only uses 5.4 amps) leaving plenty of electricity available to run a dryer.
You should also wonder why they want you using inefficient electric heat. If you run a Shore Power or an undersized generator you need 14+ Amps to run an electric heater. So if you don't mind grooming in the winter with the heat off while you use the blow dryer then electric heat only is one way to go.
Standard in our trailers is the latest RV Catalytic Heaters for heating the grooming space. Every RV and camper uses safe, efficient catalytic propane heating. That removes the drain on electricity usage. There is no recorded event of a propane tank used like this of being unsafe anywhere in America.
We give you Two 20 lb. bbq size tanks standard. They work one at a time to safely heat your groom space. When one is empty the other is ready to go. Tanks are easily and affordably swapped at every Home Depot, Lowes or Walmart and at many garden centers, hardware stores, lumber yards and many, many gas stations as well. Propane is readily available and a more efficient source for heat than gasoline powering a generator to provide electricity for inefficient electric heat.
The trailers are built to distribute all the weight. From front to back the elongated tongue and generator box with generator ensure plenty of tongue weight and our mechanical room with the water balance it off in the rear. The water is seperated to both sides and over the wheels by using vertical tanks. The trailer's frame and axles are rated for 7000 GVWR and the finished trailer comes in weighing under 4,000 lbs.(6x12)
